The Challenge

Pelorus Private Island offers something increasingly rare: complete seclusion within one of the world’s most extraordinary natural environments.

The challenge was to create a fragrance that could reflect that sense of exclusivity and escape — luxurious and evocative, without relying on a predictable interpretation of island life.

Our Approach

Rather than creating a fragrance centred on salt, citrus or tropical botanicals, we focused on the mood of Pelorus itself: intimate, refined and quietly seductive.

The scent needed to feel immersive and transportive, with enough depth to complement the richness of the interiors while still capturing the sense of mystery that comes with being entirely removed from the everyday.

The Solution

We created a signature scent built around plum, violet, leather and patchouli.

Ripe plum and velvety violet bring a rich, alluring softness, while smooth leather adds depth and sophistication. Earthy patchouli runs through the composition, grounding the fragrance and giving it a lingering sense of intrigue.

The result is elegant, sensual and quietly mysterious — a fragrance that reflects the rare luxury of having an extraordinary island entirely to yourself.
